The candidates you want to interview are interested in the story you tell about the opportunity there. How do you tell it right?
To give it impact, your story must be creative and specific. Part of that story is about your firm or your practice. What are the statistics you can use about growth in revenue or headcount. Another part is the culture. What do you do to engage employee families?
The opportunity belongs in the story, too. Candidates want to know what they can learn, how they can grow. Client contact and autonomy are high on any candidate’s list. Tell them about that in your story.
If you find yourself stuck in coming up with what to say, ask the people who know best about what it’s like to work there: Your employees. With careful attention to the questions you ask, they will give you want you need for your story.
