BV professionals seeking ASA certification can now get the advantages of classroom training without the additional cost of travel and lost work-time.
ASA and the Texas Tech School of Business Valuation have partnered to deliver the entire suite of Principles of Valuation (POV) courses on-site. Each course is offered over two consecutive weekends. Homework and skill building assignments are given to participants for the week between classes. The exam associated with each course is given during the second weekend.
This new delivery format enables participants to complete the work week on Friday and return on Monday without losing valuable hours. Participants return home at the end of each day of the course. This is a cost savings to employers and a convenience for participants. Also, because fewer hours are spent out of the office there is less need for multi-tasking to meet clients’ needs and a better focus on the course material to be mastered.
The Texas Tech School of Business Valuation works with local ASA chapters or other sponsoring firms to provide a calendar of course offerings that fit the needs of local participants. With proper planning, a candidate has the ability to complete the entire four-course sequence (BV201 – 204) in a one-year time frame.
