Most practices would like to get back to the office sometime in 2021. If you are one of them, now is the time to think about how your returning team will already be in a change mind-set. How can you leverage that to improve your practice?
Work from home has been disruptive, even to the most finely-tuned practice machine. New patterns and procedures have developed. Some deliberately, some by default. That’s what happens when you have to grab your stuff and leave your office.
By the time you bring your team back, they will have adapted to work from home, and it will be the coming back that feels like a significant change. You will be working with a blank slate.
Nearly every practice leader has a wish-list of projects. Maybe they’re gathering dust because they require changing company culture. Company culture will be changing, anyway. So, now may be the time to take another look at your list.
Share your list with your team and ask for their input. The buy-in you get will act as an insurance policy for success.
