    Sooner or later, everyone asks this question. Answering it is harder than you might think.

    The most surprising fact is that recent, reliable data just isn’t available. BV and Lit Support professionals comprise such a small subset of “accounting-related services” that demand for this data doesn’t balance the cost of gathering, analyzing and publishing it.

    Increasing specialization also plays a role. It’s no longer possible to think simply about “a BV (or Lit Support) Manager with five years’ experience.” You have to consider what is included in that “five years’ experience.”
