    You go to an attorney for help in avoiding legal problems. You go to a doctor for help in avoiding health problems. It probably never occurred to you to turn to a recruiter for help in avoiding career pitfalls.

    You’re not alone in thinking that there’s no point talking with a recruiter if you are not in a job change mode. Who else but a recruiter with a long history of watching how BV/LS careers develop could help you find the answers to questions like these:

    I would like to move closer to family. Is it smarter to attempt that now? Or wait until I build up more experience?
