When was the last time you went on a driving trip without checking to be sure that the route you were on was the one that would get you to your destination? Probably never, right?

So, why would you let months – and years – go by without checking to be sure that the route your career is following is the one that will get you where you want to go?

It’s an easy question to overlook. One of the most attractive things about business valuation is that there’s always something different, something new. Boredom tends not to last very long. When the work is continuously new and fresh, it’s normal to always be moving forward and doing whatever’s next.

It can seem counter-intuitive to stop and question whether you’re on the right road. It can also seem like a waste of time. After all, if it weren’t the right road, wouldn’t you know it?

In too many cases, unfortunately, the answer arrives too late for you to do much about it.

Business valuation offers an increasing variety of career path alternatives. Do you know what they are? Do you know what skills or experience you need to get where you want to go? Or, whether you’re even getting that where you are?

It’s always comforting to look at the road signs and know you’re headed in the right direction. A conversation about your BV career might produce the same result. Wouldn’t you feel more confident if you knew for sure?

Contact us for a confidential discussion of where you stand in your career.
