Ever own a pair of shoes that just don’t feel right? They may be pretty…

Ever have a pair of shoes that don’t quite fit anymore? They are a quality pair and you don’t like the thought of replacing them. But, maybe it’s time. Could it be that your job is like that pair of shoes?
Let’s be honest. No one’s job is perfect. There may be irritations you put up with that you didn’t see or really have reason to know about when you started. Maybe those irritations only came along later, with the arrival of new bosses, new co-workers or changes in the company structure.
Just like with the shoes, the question is whether you can do something about it and what it might cost. And just like with the shoes, you need the help of a professional. It could be that the real problem is other than what you think it is. And, of course, that would put a different spin on whether and how you might resolve the irritation.
It could be that the cost of resolving it is less—or more—than you think it might be. Either way, having a better handle on that cost could also tell you where you might turn for a resolution.
